But to lose weight you have to do more than just changing your diet, you also need to exercise. It is important to exercise as you have to make sure that you are keeping your body in the condition for losing weight. Exercise can be just anything that keeps your body and muscles moving. When you think of fighting fat with exercise, you probably think of hours of hard, sweaty exertion. If this is the case, then, you will not get any farther. This is because people who are so much into losing more by exerting more effort tend to get bored easily.

Why? Because experts contend that when people exert more effort than what they are capable of doing creates a tendency to develop weariness and ennui. Hence, they give up, stop doing their routine exercises, and end up sulking in the corner with a bag of chips that seems to have all the bad calories in this world.

Not losing weight eventhough you are exercising? December 3, 2006

So you may be wonder why you are not getting lighter on a weighting machine? Well let me share with you, if you are exercising and training your body regularly, you are actually adding muscle to your body, not fats. Muscles actually weighs heavier than fat, so your weight may not be decreasing eventhough you are exercising to keep yourself trim. You should be happy for that as you are getting healthier you know.

Likewise, even if you are eating healthy food and avoiding high calories food, your weight might not decrease if you eat an over large portion of food a meal. You might be taking in too much a size for your caloric needs. So try to eat a balanced, just enough portion of food a meal.
